If choosing between a burger and yusheng is a dilemma you ever had to face, there’s always the Huat Rock Burger ($25) — available from Feb 1-29.
Created by Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the innovative burger features a beef patty served alongside a refreshing ‘Lo Hei’-inspired salad with tangy plum sauce and crunchy golden pillow crackers.
Vibrantly-coloured ingredients like carrots, pomelo and radish, surround the burger for an auspicious finish.

1. The Golden Superbowl ‘live’
Besides the Lunar New Year, here’s something else going on that football fans can celebrate on Feb 8. (We mean American football, aka rugby.) A couple of pubs in town will be screening the Golden Superbowl, which is sure to be a spectacle (it’s the 50th Superbowl).
Dallas Restaurant & Bar’s two outlets will be open at 6.30am, with breakfast service starting at 7am. Guests attending the Superbowl screening have the chance to walk away with two Freeflow Prime Rib dinners in a lucky draw, and groups of ten of more will receive either a free tower of San Miguel/Stella Artois or a Wings Platter.
Alternatively, Smokey’s BBQ will also be screening the Golden Super Bowl from 7am. We recommend that you make reservations before heading down to any of the restaurants.
