The three-day fair hopes to provide a fun environment for families as well as an exciting arena for competitors.
If Legoland and the new Hello Kitty Town are not enough to draw you across the Causeway, the Johor Air Carnival just might.
Activities for everyone
The carnival, held between Aug 28 and 30, will feature a plethora of activities, including hot air balloon performances as well as parachute demonstrations. You will even have a chance to ride in a helicopter.
There are also competitions, like paper plane and go-kart tournaments, for individuals who want to get their adrenaline pumping.
Kids are also not forgotten, with colouring and photography contests included in the carnival’s mix.
Cultivating new interests
The carnival is organised jointly by Nobel Active Sdn Bhd and the South East Asia Airsport Federation (SEAAF).
The event hopes to encourage the cultivation of friendships and unity among the community and to introduce air sports as a new and viable hobby for youth.
Escape the tedium of everyday life in Singapore and take a short drive, or bus ride, up to Johor. Who knows? The jaunt might be a short enjoyable escape, or even a chance to pick up a hobby you’ve always wanted to try.
The Johor Air Carnival will take place from 28 – 30 August, 7am to 9am. Visit www.nobel-active.com for more information.
