AMOR opens its doors at 107 Amoy Street, introducing a Spanish restaurant-and-bar that’s all about lingering, sharing, and letting a lunch seamlessly drift into night.
The “midday siesta” concept isn’t just a gimmick—it shapes the space’s rhythm. Step in during the day, and it’s bright, airy, and welcoming; as evening falls, the light softens, the mood deepens, and suddenly you’re tempted to stay for “one more” round of something delicious.
The shophouse interior is pure Catalan whimsy. Curved arches, soft thresholds, and a trencadís-style mosaic bar nod to Gaudí’s playful modernism. It’s intimate yet spacious, like wandering down a dusk-lit Spanish street—warm, golden, and unhurried.

Led by Co-Founder and Head Chef Yu Wang Leung (Chef Wang) and Co-Founder/Executive Director Azad Sharma, AMOR’s kitchen is rooted in Spanish tradition but never afraid to play.

Tapas That Speak Spanish Tradition
Tapas start the conversation: Pa Amb Tomàquet (S$12++) offers simple, comforting Catalan vibes; Cantabrian Anchovies (S$16++) arrive briny and bold; Gambas Al Ajillo (S$34++) hits with that addictive garlic-oil punch. Iberico is front and center, from 24-month hand-carved Jamón Ibérico de Bellota (S$38++) to smoky, paprika-spiked Chorizo Bellota 100% Ibérico (S$24++).

Creative Plates With Personality
Then there are the dishes that really showcase Chef Wang’s personality. Happy Eggggg (S$18++) arrives in a martini glass, layered with truffle sabayon, 65°C onsen egg, pumpkin coulis, jamón chips, and brown-butter sourdough croutons—light, earthy, and indulgent all at once. Tea Smoked King Salmon with Avruga Caviar (S$34++) dances with vichyssoise, while Pulpo de Galicia (S$32++) —grilled octopus atop silky potato with sweet corn and sobrasada sofrito—is tender, smoky, and utterly addictive. Fresh Mussel Anchovy Meunière with a butter, brandy, lemon, and mustard sauce reminds you why seafood in Spain is so irresistible.

For sharing, the Slow-cooked Iberico Pork Ribs (S$56++/serves 3-5Pax), glazed with a honey-quince sauce, are pure joy. The Mediterranean Seafood Paella (S$56++/serves 2-4Pax) is a showstopper: perfectly separate grains, the prized socarrat at the bottom, and brimming with tiger prawns, sea bass, and squid sofrito.

Desserts That Delight & Surprise
Dessert carries the same inventive energy. Bombas surprises with its croquette-like exterior that hides creamy gelato inside. Hazelnut & Almond Lava Cake (S$18++) oozes molten indulgence. Pan Con Chocolate (S$18++) is dark chocolate ganache foam with olive oil and sea salt, while the Basque Burnt Cheesecake (S$16++) finishes the meal with smoky, silky comfort.
