The name “happy hour” doesn’t lie; the pairing of good alcohol and a bargain is a recipe for a good time. The next time you want to unwind with your friends, hit up these bars and restaurants for some unbelievable weekly happy hour promotions. The trick is to head there early before the sun sets, but we don’t really need telling twice to leave the office right after the work day ends, do we?
1. Tanuki Raw
Cocktails and oysters – one of the best culinary pairings ever, made even better on a special deal at Tanuki Raw. For a modern Japanese restaurant, it’s not surprising that the sushi and rice bowls are the signature dishes. (We personally also love the Sweet Potato Truffle Fries!) But the crowds also stream in in the evening for the $10 martinis and cocktails (including a sake-based one), and $12 pints of beer. For every drink you order during happy hour, you can enjoy up to six freshly shucked oysters at $2 each.
