More spacious walkways please?
If you had been to the first overseas edition of Bangkok’s famous market Artbox in Singapore last year, you might have left severely disappointed by the impossibly overcrowded space. This year, Artbox Singapore is back for its second run, and promises to be bigger and better than before. To be completely honest, we were slightly traumatised at Artbox’s crowd management last year, but hey it’s almost a year, and we’re now ready to leave the past behind and give Artbox another shot.
Here are 6 things we’re looking forward to at the hipster market this year:
1. More space
One of the biggest gripe last year among visitors was how unbelievably crowded the space was. Too many people, too little space! This year, Artbox Singapore 2018 will increase in size by nearly three times to spread over an event space of over 140,000 square feet (compared to 50,000 square feet in 2017). An estimated of 700,000 visitors are expected to attend this year.
