The anticipated Doctor Strange has been lauded for its trippy and psychedelic visuals

Marvel seems to be veering into strange territory. Leading up to the premiere of Doctor Strange, which stars “Sherlock” actor Benedict Cumberbatch, the company has released a line-up of teaser trailers with trippy visuals and intense special effects.
One presents Cumberbatch sporting fists of fury glowing with mystical markings. Another features walls bending, stretching and shortening, harkening to Christopher Nolan’s Inception. This may well be Marvel’s most interesting visual work thus far, thanks to a most extraordinary and unique superhero.
