This year’s Epicurean Market offers a stellar line-up of celebrity chefs as well, a curation of only the freshest produce, as well as talks and tutorials on how you can bring a little bit of that magic into your own home.
Culinary Veterans
Amongst the world class line-up of celebrity chefs are David Thompson (Long Chim) and Tetsuya Wakuda (Waku Ghin) joining our local talent Justin Quek (Sky on 57). Other award winning chefs include Nancy Silverton and David Myers.
Culinary fanatics can also look forward to a mystery box cook-off between executive chefs Jonathan Kinsella (db Bistro Moderne) and David Almany (Osteria Mozza). The two superstars will go head to head in a cook-off only using the ingredients provided in a mystery box.
Master Class Highlights
As if the list of super star executive chefs was not enough, also featuring at the Market, a peek into the history of vermouth and aromatised wines with Marina Bay Sands’ mixologist Lucas Swallows. Also in the drinks arena, award winning bartenders Joa Allessandroni and Zdenek Kastanek talk about cocktails and how one would assess it through balance, flavour, ingredients and quality. Eco-conscious foodies can look forward to a sharing from executive chef Christopher Christie presents a sustainability themed workshop.
