2. The Sailor Moon UNIQLO UT Collection
Finally, UNIQLO will be launching the Sailor Moon UNIQLO UT collection at all UNIQLO stores and online on 23 August 2019! If you are an 80s kid, you may have grown up with Sailor Moon, a manga series in Nakayoshi magazine that was targeted at female teenagers.
Sailor Moon was subsequently adapted into an anime series, airing in more than 40 countries and books of Sailor Moon have been published in 17 languages worldwide. Just last month, a new anime and musical have been produced to celebrate 25 years of Sailor Moon.
UNIQLO’s Sailor Moon UT collection is designed based on the original drawings for the e-Book by writer and illustrator Naoko Takeuchi. Some characters such as Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon), friend Luna, and Sailor Soldiers can be found in the collection. The UT will be retailing at $19.90 each, and sizes from XS – XXL are available. Get ready to snatch them off the shelves before they go out of stock!
