In the lead-up to Valentine’s Day, the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) is throwing a picnic party in its courtyard on 11 Feb, 10am-9pm.

Visitors can engage in an array of fanciful activities like live portrait sketching sessions by illustrators from the Organisation of Illustrators Council (OIC), DIY potpourri and custom bouquets or boutonnieres from Fleurapy.

Peckish patrons can partake in baked treats by Pretty Awkward Pastry, organic coffee on tap by Wheely’s Café and more, while enjoying performances by local musicians.

Those who need to cool off with some cold air and art, SAM is offering one-for-one admission fees to the Singapore Biennale and extended museum operating hours on that Saturday.

Pre-register for discounted live portrait sketches by OIC illustrators at $5 (UP $10 on-site) here. Groups of three or more will be charged an additional $5 per head. All fees are payable on-site upon collection of the illustrations.

Singapore Art Museum, 71 Bras Basah Road.
