1. Brush your hair regularly

People who do not comb or brush their hair regularly may have a slightly higher risk of developing dandruff. This is because they are not helping the scalp shed dead skin, with the same efficiency of a comb or brush.

2. Moisturise your scalp and skin

People with dry skin tend to get dandruff more often. Winter cold air or overheated rooms are common causes of itchy, flaking skin.

Dandruff caused by dry skin tend to appear in small but non-oily flakes.
