1. Immerse yourself in photography

As part of the ION Orchard’s eighth anniversary celebrations, ION ART is partnering with Leica Galerie Singapore to present the Celebration of Photography exhibition. Featuring the works of eight illustrious Singapore-based photographers, the exhibition hosted at ION Art Gallery will run from now until 15 October, from 10am to 10pm daily.

Much more than just pictures on the wall, the carefully curated works, shot entirely with Leica cameras and lenses, run the gamut of photography genres, including portraits, architectural shots, and street photography. Photography buffs would recognise some familiar names from the lineup of prolific photographers such as Laxmi Kaul, Andrew Lum, Francisco Marin, and Claire Jedrek.  If you’re looking to learn how to capture the iconic black and white images Leica is renowned for, there’ll also be complimentary photography talks hosted by Leica Akademie on 14 October.
