The world’s largest aquarium brand, SEA LIFE, has officially announced that SEA LIFE Malaysia will open at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in the fourth quarter of 2018. Located right next to the existing LEGOLAND Malaysia Theme Park, the LEGOLAND Malaysia Water Park, and the LEGOLAND Malaysia Hotel, the new attraction is set to attract more tourists to stay even longer at the resort.
SEA LIFE Malaysia will feature more than 25 display tanks in 11 habitat zones, housing a total of thousands of sea creatures. Expect to come face to face with marine creatures like seahorses, sharks, rays, and jellyfishes. Some of the key habitat zones will include Shoaling Ring, Ocean View, Tropical Stingray Bay, and Ocean Tunnel. Embracing the local identity, SEA LIFE Malaysia will also showcase the Malaysian Rainforest as one of the habitat zones. A highlight of this zone will be the Rafflesia flower native to the region, which also happens to be the world’s largest flower.
The SEA LIFE experience will be enhanced with interactive elements in every habitat zone. After all, some hands-on experiences beats reading about marine creatures in books right? There will also be special behind-the-scenes tours happening everyday for guests to learn more about how the animals are cared for at SEA LIFE Malaysia.
