Here’s where you can meet the mastermind behind the wildly viral “PPAP” video
The creator of the infectious “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen (PPAP)” video, Japanese singer Piko-Taro, is coming to Singapore next weekend, announced entertainment channel WakuWaku Japan.
The singer will make an appearance at the Anime Festival Asia (AFA) on 27 Nov, the last day of the festival. He will be stationed at the WakuWaku Japan channel booth, as stated on the channel’s Facebook page.
The viral song, which lasts just 45 seconds and was uploaded to YouTube in August, has garnered more than 85 million views. It earned Piko-Taro a Guinness World Record for the shortest song to make it into the Billboard Hot 100.
The AFA will run from 25-27 Nov at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
