Do you know who are Molang and Piu Piu? Does their names sound cute to you already?
Molang is fluffy, cute, and speaks a universal language (known as Molangese). It is the coolest kawaii bunny around, created by South Korean illustrator Hye-Ji Yoon and French animation studio Millimages. Molang and it’s best friend chick Piu Piu take on their pastel world with a feel-good attitude – spreading friendship, happiness, empathy and positivity everywhere they go.
After Little Twin Stars, this time Kumoya Cafe welcomes Molang and Piu Piu to Singapore for their first-ever cafe pop-up! The menu conceived by Shirley Wong (@littlemissbento), in collaboration with the Kumoya kitchen crew. It will be totally Molang-ified, including a colourful array of kawaii dishes.
Starting from Thursday, 18th February, you will see Kumoya Café transform into Molang’s world – a cosy and comfy cocoon that’ll make you feel like you’re dining on a cloud in a kawaii foodie paradise! The cafe is decorated in pastel hues, making every corner of the cafe Instagram-worthy.
Here are some adorable dishes which you can keep a lookout for:
