1. The Cliff
Inspired by the Italian proverb “il dolce far niente”, Italian restaurant The Cliff coaxes you to take the pleasure of doing nothing, except feast and merry-make, while savouring soaring views of the South China Sea. Helmed by Chef de Cuisine Simone Fraternali, the dining destination strives to immerse diners into the full Italian experience, bolstered by Chef’s own cooking that reflects memories from his European homeland. Some culinary highlights include seafood spoils of Grilled Octopus with Orange Potato and Salmoriglo ($23) and a whole Seabass ($60 for two), plus homemade pizzas and pasta such as Fior di Latte Cheese, Mascarpone and Truffle Cream Pizza ($32) and Beef Cheek Tortelli with Grana Padano Cream and Red Wine Sauce ($30). Special gastronomic sessions will also be held at The Cliff regularly, such as a monthly A Journey Through Italy, where guests can sample dishes from specific regions of Italy, and Thursdays’ An Italian Affair with Chef Simone that gives Chef full control of your dinner menu. All you need is a little faith!
