Pâtissez opens its first Singapore store at the new Raffles Holland Village on Holland Avenue.

Internet sensation, viral food trend and a sweet toothed foodie’s wet dream — Pâtissez is synonymous with its signature Freakshakes.

Since its mouthwatering milkshakes first made appearance on social media in early 2015, other copycat creations have spawned with equally stunning effect.

The hallmark of each over-the-top milkshake is in its decadent additions, from treats like brownies, cookies, pretzels to even slabs of cake.

Originally located in the suburb of Manuka in Australia’s capital, the family-owned patisserie, also known for their spectacular cakes and desserts, soon opened a second Canberra store in the centre of the city thanks to its burgeoning queues.

And as they say, the rest was history.

Now, Pâtissez has landed on our shores, with its first Singapore store situated at the new Raffles Holland Village on Holland Avenue.

“It’s totally different to Kuala Lumpur but has its own flavour, which definitely suits the area and local market,” says owner Ms Petridis.

Singaporeans can look forward to a line-up of delicious Freakshakes ($16) in flavours like Pretzella, Mint Condition, Sneaky Freak and Maddy Pat. The Pretzella plays on the desirable salty-sweet combination with crunchy salted pretzels and luscious, smooth nutella milkshake.

Fans of chocolate mints will be satisfied with Mint Condition, a refreshing concoction crowned with a whole chocolate cookie sandwich and a mint chocolate semifreddo.

For an unapologetically chocolate-ty creation, go for the Muddy Pat — an ostentatiously oversized milkshake with textural elements like chocolate fudge, chocolate fudge, chocolate brownie and get this, a charred and melty marshmellow.

Craving for something savoury? Order the Freak Burger.

If desserts aren’t your poison of choice, stay for their all-day brunch items like the Tropical Hotcakes and juicy Freak Burger, featuring two beef patties no less. Lucky diners might also be able to catch the Salted Caramel and Nutella Donuts, available every now and then.
