Chef Hirotaka Murata launches new creations with rich and flavourful broths

You’ll be able to find all of that and more at Tomo Izakaya, a Japanese-style gastropub loved for its convivial ambient and authentic cuisine.
Now, there’s even more reason to pay a visit — Chef Hirotaka Murata has launched three new ramen dishes to whet appetites.
And mark our words, there’re not your usual offerings. There’s one with green noodles and another with broth made from a two-generation-old recipe!
1. Kai Ramen, $14
These jade green noodles are served in a clear soup base made using two types of clam, asari and hamaguri, complemented by chicken bones, Japanese snapper bones and vegetables. To enhance the seafood flavour, wakame seaweed and yuzi peel are added.
