How to maximise your long weekends next year and the best times to book your flights

According to the Ministry of Manpower, 2017 will bring us seven long weekends - where a public holiday (PH) falls on a Friday or Monday. However, by taking just six days of leave, you can enjoy three more long weekends, stretching your total vacation time to a whopping 36 days.

At the tail end of the school holiday, this PH may be the easiest time for Mum and Dad to take a vacay with the family.
