But being a well-seasoned Bangkok-trotter comes with its own first-world problems. Platinum Mall is starting to bore out your wit's end, or perhaps you don't feel as stimulated after the 100th massage at Healthland. To put it simply, Bangkok is starting to become a bit of a humdrum and you're itching to ignite that very same spark on your first visit to the Land Of Smiles.

You have been shopping in malls for days, so why not try shopping on a boat instead?

About an hour’s journey from the bustling city of Bangkok, Damnoen Sudak Floating Market is a visual barrage of colourful produce-filled long-tail boats packing the river. Despite being a rather touristy destination, the floating market isn’t short of character as a cacophony of water sloshing and passionate exchanges, complemented by aromas of piping hot local delights such as boat noodles and coconut pancakes, fill the air.
