Disneyland and spring is a dream combination of all things magical. And there’s even more reason to visit our nearest Disneyland in Hong Kong this season – at least five reasons, in fact. Hong Kong Disneyland is welcoming spring in a big way with a range of fun new activities, from the popular springtime Carnivale of Stars to the Disney Character Egg Hunt. Plus, there’s something extra special for Marvel fans! If you’re planning a spring vacation soon, put Hong Kong Disneyland and these five new activities at the theme park on your agenda!
1. Fight on a mission alongside Ant-Man and The Wasp
Marvel fans especially should book a trip to the theme park soon, so you can be one of the first to take the world’s first Ant-Man and the Wasp theme park ride when it debuts at Hong Kong Disneyland on 31 March! The highly anticipated Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! will have a unique local context in its storyline – guests are sent on an important mission with Ant-Man and The Wasp to defend Hong Kong against Hydra’s attack. From the S.H.I.E.L.D. Science and Technology Pavilion, you will be transported around Kowloon and shrunk down to ant size to help the heroes battle the Hydra evil scientist and his Swarmbots. Here’s your chance to experience the life of the tiny but mighty superhero!
The first photos released show a super authentic-looking attraction. And it’s no wonder why – the director and production team behind the Marvel movie were the team that filmed the media for the attraction. Fans can also look forward to seeing the stars, including Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, appearing and reprising their roles to guide you along your mission. Even the exhilarating score you hear in the attraction will sound very familiar, because it is created by the composer of the Ant-Man movies!
