4. Live in a dog house

No, not a kennel – you can live in a house that’s literally shaped like a dog. The Dog Bark Park Inn B&B is a giant beagle-shaped building at the edge of Cottonwood in rural Idaho. The house consists of a library with books, games and puzzles – many of which are dog-themed, naturally.

The second story deck provides a great view of the starry sky on clear nights. Visitors can also browse the adjacent Dog Bark Park visitor center, gift shop and artist studio where the owners craft canine carvings by chainsaw.
