8. Takenaka Inari Shrine, Kyoto

Cherry blossoms and torii gates together? Take us to Takenaka Inari Shrine right now! This shrine in Kyoto’s Sakyo Ward isn’t very widely known, and all the better for visitors to take beautiful photos in this dreamy place. A row of cherry trees with low-hanging branches line a path through a series of iconic red torii gates. When spring arrives, little pink sakura blooms weave their way around and through the torii gates, creating a superbly photogenic sight.
