The imperial capital of thirteen dynasties, Xi’an is most famous for being home to the iconic Terracotta Warriors that guard the tomb of Qin Shi Huang. 2. Beilin Museum (碑林博物馆)
Also known as the Forest of Stone Steles Museum, this art museum holds the largest collection of inscribed steles (ancient stone tablets) of classic and rare texts. Fans of Chinese calligraphy can look forward to comparing the wide range of styles from different dynasties, including calligraphies written by several famous emperors!
