Fun variations with Creative Shot Mode

The Canon PowerShot N2, the latest selfie-friendly camera on the market, has a function that caters to the filter-obsessed. A quick flick on the tab at the side of the camera brings you to the Creative Shot Mode. What does that do?

First, you take your photo as usual. Put on your million-dollar smile and adjust your hair, and simply click anywhere on the 360-degree shutter ring. Hold it there for two seconds for the original photo plus five filter-ready versions of it to kick in.
The LCD screen will then display your photo in the six different looks (including the original). The function ends in a two-second combined montage, before going back to the ready for shooting mode.

How cool is that? There’s no pressure to choose one filter from the lot because the camera automatically saves all six versions! Your photos will never ever be boring again.

Doughnut Selfies and More

Have you heard of a “doughnut selfie”, the latest craze to sweep the nation? We talked about this in our last article.

In case you missed it, a doughnut selfie is taken when you hold your selfie camera at an angle and video yourself as you rotate the camera, and change the background.

The Canon PowerShot N2 goes a step further – the Creative Shot Movie Mode combines several movie clips automatically, with special effects such as super-slow motion, quick motion, and various filters for creating short films.

Smart Auto Mode

The Canon PowerShot N2 also features the Smart Auto Mode with 58 different pre-defined scenes for still shots and 21 for video. This means you can trust the camera to help you look your best, without needing to switch between functions.
