MAC has a knack for coming up with quirky, irreverent collabs that borrow heavily from pop culture.
This time around, they’ve teamed up with American science fiction powerhouse Star Trek for a one-of-a-kind collection.
In the words of MAC Senior Vice President/Group Creative Director James Gager, “Star Trek is an iconic pop culture phenomena whose storylines pushed gender and racial boundaries. For its 50th anniversary, we celebrate each of Star Trek’s powerful women in a transcending, transformational makeup collection.”
We got a sneak peek of the collaboration and hear that the 25-piece collection will include everything from nail polishes (S$26) to something called the Metamorphosis Powder (S$60).
If you’re a trekkie who can’t wait to get your hands on this launch, the bad news is that the collection will only be available in stores come September 2016.
BUT we hear that the pre-sale will be happening on 21 July, just in time for the latest movie installation of the series, Star Trek Beyond.
