In May of last year, Balmain and L'Oréal announced that they have teamed up to procure a 12-piece lipstick collection for the beauty brand's popular makeup line, Colour Riche. This is also the first beauty endeavour of Balmain's Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing - a venture that seemed right, considering the success he had from his previous haircare line and fragrance collection.
While released during Paris Fashion Week in September 2017, the highly-anticipated lipstick collection is only now available in Singapore, which you can purchase via fashion e-retailer Zalora.
Segregated in three couture packs: Rock, Couture and Glamazone, the lipstick line boasts 12 glorious metallic matte shades that are meant to “suit every kind of colour and continent and culture."
Case in point: Rousteing has drawn inspiration from 12 supermodels of diverse ethnicity for each gorgeous shade. You have Korean rocker chick Soo Joo Park who plays out the gem-like violet Freedom shade, Dominican warrior Ysaunny Brito touting Balmain Instinct's safari green, and femme fataleLara Stone in the red of Dominance.
