10 Looks From COS Autumn/Winter 2016

Utilitarian details, polished layering and eclectic elements

COS is synonymous with timeless pieces that offer plenty of wardrobe mileage, and its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection is no different. What stood out this season are the utilitarian details that nod to high-tech performance gear and a sense of functionality.

Trims of eyelets, straps and zips are set on a palette of rich, dark navy, intense blue, ochre, burgundy and forest green — said to be inspired by the intense colours found in the backdrop of Lynette Yiadom Boakye’s paintings.

Layering is encouraged, with polished separates in materials like silk chiffon and bonded wool coming together nicely for a touch of playful mix and match.
