With Formula 10.0.6’s Pores Be Pure mud mask ($13.90), you may be able to attain a clear complexion without having to break the bank.

The affordable mud mask is packed with berry ingredients which target clogged pores, as well as strawberry and yarrow to wipe out impurities.

After using Pores Be Pure, my skin felt cleaner and my complexion was more radiant. I also noticed fewer blackheads and smoother skin over the next few days.

Available at Guardian pharmacies.

If your skin is starting to look a little dull from late nights and parties, why not pamper yourself with Bliss’ Transluminous Intensive Clarifying Treatment ($175)?

Formulated without water, this overnight treatment cream tries to efficiently deliver a powerful dose of vitamin C to your skin.

Simply spread it across your face and neck after toning and cleansing, and your skin should glow the next day.

Available at all Sephora Stores.

Dr. Ci:Labo Aqua-Collagen Gel Enrich-Lift EX

Dr

The Aqua-Collagen Gel Enrich-Life EX ($75 for 50g and $150 for 120g) aims to hydrate your skin with key ingredients such as Gold Collagen EX and rye seed extract.

The gel is a fuss-free, all-in-one product which covers eight steps of your daily skin care routine — it worked especially well as a toner, facial mask and makeup base.

My skin was visibly clearer and moisturised after using the product, allowing makeup to stay on longer.

As the product was free of synthetic colourants and parabens, it was suitable for my sensitive skin.

Available exclusively at Watsons.

Revlon Salon Hits Hair Elixir Shampoo

revlon

Revlon’s Salon Hits Hair Elixir shampoo ($14.90) contains three different types of oil, namely Argan, Cyperus and Linseed. The oils are claimed to nourish your hair with Vitamin E, resulting in manageable, controlled strands, as well as a soft and shiny finish.

After using the product, however, my dyed hair did not feel as silky as I thought it would. Nonetheless, it cleansed my scalp well and left my hair manageable and frizz-free.

If you’re planning on using this shampoo, it would be advisable to complete your haircare routine with some conditioner and hair serum.

Available exclusively at Watsons.
