5 Things That Happened At William & Kate’s Royal Wedding That We (Sort Of) Hope To See At Harry & Meghan’s

We're less than two weeks away from the royal wedding taking place on 19 May!

It's the wedding the whole world's been waiting for. The one where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Crenshaw will soon get to stamp their unique quirks on the centuries-old tradition of a royal marriage.

Consummating on 19 May, the royal prince and the American actress will tie the knot in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, broadcasted for millions of people from all over the world to see.

Prior to the impending nuptials, we look back on Prince William and Kate Middleton's magical wedding (has it been seven years already?) and recount seven highlights that took place on that eventful day that we're (sort of) hoping would happen again this year.

3. Funny moments like this

How do you outdo an iconic balcony kiss? With a scowling three-year old bridesmaid, that’s how! At the royal wedding more than seven years ago, William’s goddaughter Grace Van Cutsem served as one of Kate’s bridesmaid. As the bride and groom shared their first public smooch to roaring applause and cheers (and a thundering Royal Air flyover above), little Grace must have been overwhelmed, and proceeded to photobomb the kissing couple with a grumpy face and her hands over her ears.

It is unclear whether Grace will reprise her role as a bridesmaid for Meghan Markle and Harry’s royal wedding, but seeing that Kensington Palace has confirmed that Meghan’s bridesmaids and pageboys would all be children, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some funny kiddy moments!
