5. Balance
Instead of making Iron Man the clear bad guy as in the Civil War comics, the movie was a lot more nuanced in its storytelling, portraying Captain America and Iron Man as both protagonist and antagonist. You might go into the theatre being 100% on Team Cap, but leave questioning your loyalty. The same can be said for Team Iron Man fans too.
Either way, this movie creates room for discussion that can possibly relate to current affairs. Should the government be able to keep tabs on our actions? Or should we be free to self-govern and choose what’s best for us? Regardless of your answer, the movie forces you to choose your side wisely.
