9. Have a ball of a time at SMU Arts Festival
The second and final weekend of the SMU Arts Fest features a broad range of events spanning diverse genres and artistic forms. Look out for the free stage events at SMU Campus Green,where you can hear impassioned speeches as well as an East meets West commissioned piece performed by SMU Symphonia & SMU Chinese Orchestra. Noteworthy ticketed events include Un Paso 2017: Twisted Fairy Tales by SMU Ardiente, where audiences get to uncover the dark side of familiar fairytales as narrated through the pulsating rhythms and sensual hip movements of Latin ballroom dance.
