Popularised by the movie Inception, the concept of the paradox is a common appearance in art – but do you know where it originated from?
Dutch artist MC Escher (1898-1972) was known to employ the use of irregular perspectives and mathematical visuals in his works, which inspired the “paradox” in Inception. Now, more than 150 of Escher’s original works are being shown at ArtScience Museum’s Journey to Infinity: Escher’s World of Wonder.
