2. Bond with your little ones at a children’s festival
National Gallery Singapore presents Children’s Festival: Small Big Dreamers to inspire visitors in imagining and re-imagining the world around them through experiential art and active play. Taking place from 9 June to 9 September, This year’s bi-annual festival introduces visitors of all ages to Lee Wen, one of Singapore’s pioneer performance artists and a Cultural Medallion award recipient, through a special commission inspired by his life and practice – A Waking Dream: Sun-boy and Yellow Man.Man The installation is presented through a series of five immersive installations throughout the Gallery, further complemented with other works by international artists such as We Make Carpets (the Netherlands), teamLab (Japan) and Mark Justiniani (Philippines).
