9. Dine at a new restaurant in Jalan Besar
A laid-back restaurant that combines Alittle (the owner’s family name) and tashi (Tibetan for blessings), Alittle tashi serves up a medley of modern comfort food anchored by Asian roots. In the Dining Room, expect dishes like Foie Gras on Japanese rice and rice cracker, chargrilled Squid with Asian chimichurri and garlic-fennel Pork Skewers with pineapple sauce. A meal in the Dining Room takes on the communal Asian dining style, and is tied together by punchy house-made pickles and sauces. Drinks are enjoyed in the laundry room with crunchy pickled Spicy Red Radishes, or oozy baked Mozzarella with furikake on sticks.
