The 50 Cents Fest is back this weekend! From 27 and 28 July, the popular affordable food festival spotlights Hokkien heritage by showcasing a variety of traditional Hokkien dishes, including the rare ones. Head over to Chinatown Food Street, Smith Street, to indulge in more than 50 different savouries and sweets priced from just $0.50 to no more than $3. Guests can look forward to Beng Hiang’s famous kong ba bao (braised pork belly bun) at just $1, the nutritious Buddha Jumps Over The Wall soup at just $3, and more amazing steals.
