Rice snacks, also known as rice ‘Okaki’ or ‘Senbei’ in Japanese, are as healthy as they are delicious. At the one-day event happening on Saturday 23 September, you’ll get to glean nutritional information about the rice snacks hailing from the different prefectures in Japan, and learn about the special features that make each one of them unique. Sample and taste the many types of rice snacks that vary in flavour, texture, shape, and size. There will also be a talk and presentation about the importance of healthy snacking as well as various chef demonstrations, quizzes and games.
