8. Have more cake at Cake Club’s final fiesta
After seven weekends of filling bellies with cake, Cake Club by Marina Square will sadly put away rainbow sprinkles and hang up the apron after its final operating weekend from 25 to 26 August, 12 pm to 9pm. However, the temporary dessert destination is determined to leave on a sweet note with a special guest appearance of Australian pastry chef Eddie Stewart, formerly from Sydney’s Black Star Pastry, who will give guests a taste of exclusive desserts served at his upcoming N2 Brunch Club in Tokyo. As you indulge in Stewart’s longan and blueberry cake and ricotta and berry pancakes. be sure to always save room for the desserts offered by local outlets and bakers such as Antoinette, Creme Maison, Lynn Cakes, and Boufé Boutique Café. The weekend will also be your last chance to participate in a cookie painting session by Once Upon a Table.
