With so many of our city’s buildings and HDB estates slowly getting demolished, how do we preserve our memories of these places? Darren Soh finds an answer in photography. The local photographer has put together an exhibition featuring more than a decades’ worth of photographs he’s taken of Singapore’s iconic old buildings that were built in the 60s and 70s. From now until 29 September, head over to the Objectifs Chapel Gallery to view the fifty photographs at the exhibition entitled “Before It All Goes”. Let them take you back on a heritage journey back in time to revisit now-demolished sites, such as the Queenstown Cinema and the Buona Vista Swimming Complex.
