Have you ever wondered about the mysteries in the extraterrestrial zone? From now until 30 June, shopping mall White Sands offers space enthusiasts to learn about this almost unreachable dimension with The Starmazing Space Adventure. Launched together with schools across the nation, the movement seeks to educate shoppers about outer space, constellations planets and the universe through a range of activities. Gaze upon the comprehensive indoor space exhibit made from balloons and lights, attend space craft workshops and sit in an open forum about the universe, planets and aliens. This weekend is particularly exciting as a custom-built balloon maze and exhibition, filled with strophotography of constellations, and balloon sculptures of animals that have been flown into outer space, is set to be erected from 15 June onwards, followed by a Mass Stargazing Session at the mall’s neighbouring open field on 16 June, where shoppers can join the students from astronomy clubs in some serious stargazing. Just remember to bring along telescopes and binoculars!
