6. Treat yourself to ‘Burger Cakes’, ‘Galaxy Gems’ and other creamy creations
If you have a sweet tooth and have already savoured desserts from almost every café here’s the chance to add a few more cakes under your belt. From 14 July to 26 August, a pop-up cake and dessert festival is coming to the Marina Square Glasshouse much to those who love everything sweet. If you are ready for some preposterous cakes, come down to try the artisanal desserts from Boufé Boutique Café and locally inspired Orh Nee and Ondeh Ondeh cakes from Crème Maison thatare sure to invoke a sense of nostalgia. Not forgetting, Cake Club isn’t just a place to feast but a one to let your imaginations run wild with dessert decoration workshops conducted by the acclaimed Yume Patisserie. Even if sweet things aren’t your go to, the glasshouse will be transformed into a willy-wonka like candyland with gigantic cake sculptures and an over-the-top confetti pool, so come on down and get your cameras ready!
