8. Uncover the lesser known stories of our shared heritage
Remember the Empress Place Food Centre that used to stand by the Singapore River? Featuring a special installation inspired by hawker centres of the past, the Asian Civilisations Museum will host the final weekend of the Singapore Heritage Festival along the river.
Come savour some of Singaporeans’ favourite dishes cooked by hawkers and hear the stories they have to share. Don’t forget to also check out outdoor film screenings that will feature our local food and its history.
