8. Experience Mars on Earth
To celebrate the launch of its new documentary “Mars”, the National Geographic Channel is opening a free Experience Mars showcase from 12-13 Nov featuring the world’s first and only treadmill using NASA-based anti-gravity technology.
Held from 11am-7pm at Palawan Beach, the showcase also includes a display of the Singapore University of Technology and Design’s Mars Aqua Retrieval System – a prototype of a Martian rover designed to mine for water on the red planet. Visitors can also create a unique Mars Photo ID and National Geographic Mars-branded magazine cover keepsake.
