11-13 May: Arouse your imagination at the Singapore Art Museum, and enjoy local delicacies at a street food pop-up!
16. Enjoy Shakespeare in the Park
After a one-year absence from Fort Canning in 2018 due to a lack of financial support, Shakespeare in the Park makes its highly anticipated return this May with a million-dollar production, Julius Caesar. Set against a backdrop of modern-day international relations and global current affairs, this production sees Shakespeare’s political thriller brought to life all in an outdoor, convivial picnic setting.
The show stars Jo Kukathas (Romeo & Juliet) as Julius Caesar alongside Ghafir Akbar (Disgraced), Daniel Jenkins (Hand to God, Romeo & Juliet), Thomas Pang (Hand to God, Romeo & Juliet) and Julie Wee (The Merchant of Venice), and runs from now to 27 May.
