Lucy Liu, the Hollywood star of Charlie’s Angels and Elementary is in town! Also a talented artist, Liu has been working virtually with Singapore artist Shubigi Rao as “visual penfriends,” creating an artistic dialogue between their respective works. From 12 January to 24 February, you can explore the results in a collaborative art exhibition presented at the National Museum of Singapore. Titled “Unhomed Belongings,” the exhibition showcases how both artists give ordinary objects a new, sublime life in their artworks. Liu’s installation Lost and Found will be presented alongside Rao’s Pulp (Volumes 1 and 2), a beautiful conversation between two artists from different backgrounds who had never met in person.
