Step Into CRYBABY’s Dreamy Ocean Wonderland at Singapore Oceanarium

This season, the Singapore Oceanarium is getting a playful new visitor, and it is one that POP MART fans will instantly recognise.

From 24 June to 30 August 2026, POP MART’s beloved CRYBABY character will take over the Singapore Oceanarium with CRYBABY Cry Me an Ocean, an ocean-themed activation created in partnership with Resorts World Sentosa and the Singapore Tourism Board. Set within a real oceanarium for the first time, the experience transforms the popular collectible character into a whimsical cast of marine-inspired personalities.

The activation brings together art, character storytelling and marine discovery across 11 photo zones, including two towering outdoor inflatables, life-sized sculptures and immersive installations placed throughout the Oceanarium. Instead of existing as a standalone display, the world of CRYBABY is woven into the marine environment itself, allowing visitors to encounter the characters alongside real ocean habitats.

The adventure begins even before guests enter the Oceanarium. Outside, two five-metre CRYBABY inflatables set the tone for the journey: THE ANGLERFISH, imagined as a glowing deep-sea guide, and THE PUFFERFISH, a puffed-up companion full of personality. Both installations offer a striking first photo moment and invite visitors into CRYBABY’s underwater world.

Inside, the experience continues through key zones of the Singapore Oceanarium, including Ocean Wonders, the Shark Seas tunnel and the iconic Open Ocean viewing panel. Along the way, visitors will meet more CRYBABY marine characters through life-sized sculptures and interactive photo opportunities, each carefully positioned within the flow of the Oceanarium’s galleries.

What makes Cry Me an Ocean especially charming is how it reframes marine discovery through character-led storytelling. Each installation is accompanied by a character board that introduces the story and personality of its CRYBABY marine character. For younger visitors, families and collectors, this offers a more accessible and emotional way to connect with the ocean and its creatures.

Beyond the photo moments, the activation also supports the Singapore Oceanarium’s wider mission of encouraging greater knowledge, appreciation and care for marine life. By pairing CRYBABY’s universal appeal with the wonder of a real oceanarium setting, the experience turns a day out into something that feels both imaginative and meaningful.
