On a stroll along East Coast Park, Jonathan Tan stopped to snap a photograph of the sea. In that unexpected moment, inspiration hit him. Taking cue from similar projects, he turned the image into a Pantone colour label and decided to turn it into a series. His Singapore Pantone album has since gone viral on Facebook.
“I take the effort to look around at the different sights that Singapore has to offer,” Tan shares with Weekender. “From there, sometimes I might get brainwaves on how I can present them in a different manner.”
