The Warehouse Hotel’s Lobby Bar is back with another exciting special collaboration with an international master mixologist. In October 2018, the bar flew in renowned and award-winning mixologist Ryuichi Saito from Tokyo’s Trunk (Hotel) to work his magic behind the counter for one night. For the next event, the bar invites you to sample the unique cocktail creations by another acclaimed guest, Roberto Cuda.
On 21 March, join Cuda and The Warehouse Hotel for a magical night of great tipples. Originally from Italy, Roberto Cuda is a celebrated mixologist and beverage consultant now based in Bangkok. He has been delighting guests at The Sukhothai Bangkok with his signature cocktails for over a year and counting. Throughout his career, Cuda traveled all over the world, honing his skills behind a variety of bars in countries including London, Spain, Brazil and Dubai. Now, of course, he will be heading to Singapore for this one-night-only special event!
Putting together his experiences of the many different global cultures, Cuda has concocted a range of innovative drinks, even putting a twist on a few classic cocktails. At the Warehouse Hotel event, he will be treating guests to three of his favourite creations, which are best enjoyed in a certain order.
Kick off your drinking session on a sweet note with a Hazelnut Americano! Nope, that’s not the coffee brew, and not American either, but an Italian cocktail. In his version, Cuda shakes up the classic tipple from his hometown with a shot of chocolatey hazelnut. Next, go for the Bangkok-Turin, a Negroni inspired by both his native Italy and current hometown Bangkok. It’s a unique blend of Thai gin, Vermouth from Piemonte and a sprinkling of spice. Your adventure ends with the Scent of the Sea, a gimlet steeped in plankton and seaweed to give you a slightly savoury taste of the sea, and mixed with the smoky Talisker 10 whisky.
That’s a cocktail journey sure to help you unwind and have a good time after a long day of work on a Thursday night! On 21 March, the event will be happening from 6pm to 11pm, when The Warehouse Hotel’s Lobby Bar will really come alive.
The cosy brick-like walls, warm pendant lights and vintage gears hanging above you will make for an enchanting ambiance. Bring along your friends, co-workers and family to soak in the chill vibes, meet Roberto Cuda himself, and of course, knock back a few unique cocktails.
