Rejoice — or scream in bloodcurdling fear, Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights is back from 30 September, on 16 select nights across five weekends.

1. Early bird tickets

2. Record number of haunted houses

This sixth edition will see the theme park engulfed in hordes of supernatural creatures from Singapore-inspired hauntings to Western horrors, showcasing a record number of haunted houses.

There’ll be a total of five terrifying haunted houses, two horrifying scare zones where denizens of the dark rule the night and two spectacular live shows.

3. Show inspired by the Day of the Dead

Plus, watch the first-ever theatrical procession inspired by the Day of the Dead.

4. Old Changi Hospital takes the spotlight

Did we mention, the infamous Old Changi Hospital will be headlining this year’s HHN? Visitors who dare enter will chance upon vengeful ghosts from Singapore’s bloodiest history — from patients who do not know they are dead to the Pontianak, a female Malay vampire who wanders the hallways.

5. Hawker centres are not spared

Even your favourite Hokkien Mee stall isn’t safe from the clutches of mayhem. All hell breaks loose at the Hawker Centre Massacre, where a meal turns into a banquet of horror as victims of radioactive food poisoning transform into savage, flesh-eating creatures.

6. There’s a suicide forest

Those looking for a skin-crawling experience can enter the forbidden grounds of Suicide Forest, one of the scare zones filled with desperate cries and a sinister presence that lures unsuspecting victims to their deaths.
