What originated in 1993 in Chinese universities has transformed into the biggest shopping holiday globally, with Alibaba recording a whooping $17.8 billion USD in sales last November. Just in case you aren’t already aware, online shopping is a tedious undertaking, and no less tiring than brick-and-mortar shopping. Although we no longer need to run around different stores trying on the clothes for sizes and all, online shopping brings with it a whole new level of challengers like figuring out the sometimes complicated delivery details.
Point is, shopping takes effort, which explain why we tend to feel hungry after retail therapy. This Singles’ Day, don’t worry about finding lunch while camping by the computer for the best deals. Deliveroo has partnered with Popeyes for a $1 promotion, which includes a 1-piece spicy fried chicken, garlic rice, regular mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy and Pepsi (U.P. $10.90).
The $1 promotion will be available from 2.11pm to 4.11pm on Saturday 11 November while stocks last.
