We all know and love the famous animal playgrounds in town, namely the dragon one in Toa Payoh and pigeon one in Dakota Crescent (which is sadly going to be torn down).

4. Dinosaur playground, Woodlands

Another Jurassic gem can be found in Fu Shan Park in Woodlands, which has life-like dinosaurs with pebbled skin and sharp claws to boot. This park has a vintage and rustic feel that you’d be hard-pressed to find in modern Singapore.

In fact, Woodlands is a trove of hidden gems that are worth taking the trip for.
